Not Lost in Translation

Okay, I found an easier way to navigate the rest of the site reviewed below. I Googled “JP Swimming” and they have a “translate it” feature. How cool is that?

Click on the above title to check them out. Once you’re there, “3D animation of swimming” is listed in the right-hand column. You can even see swimmers doing the butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke.

So, I was able to view the animations of those other swimmers. They’re listed by their initials:

I.T. – Ian “The Thorpedo” Thorpe, 200 and 400 freestyle gold medalist at the Sydney and Athens Games
P.V.H. – Pieter van den Hooganband, 100 freestyle gold medalist at the Sydney and Athens Games
M.P – Michael Phelps, 200 freestyle gold medalist at the 2007 Melbourne World Championships and the Athens Games
R.M. – Laure Manaudou, women’s 200 and 400 freestyle gold medalist at the Melbourne World Championships

They're all fun to watch. But unless you're doing super-duper sprints, it's probably best to pay closer attention to those long-distance swimmers.
