Every Age is a Good Age

That’s what my mom used to say. I thought of that the other day in the rehab pool. A woman who probably defied her age (60s? 70s?) slowly strutted in with her walker. She had bright red curls, style, spunk, and a little modesty. She gingerly stepped into the pool wearing a tee shirt over her swimsuit. A brown one with rhinestones that spelled out “FIERCE” in big block letters. Maybe we should approach everything that’s difficult in life with that kind of attitude. Yeah, wear it proud.
